Fly from Kathmandu-Nepalgunj (1 Hr)Today, we fly to Nepalgunj. After 1-hour flight, we reach Nepalgunj. We take a tour of the town, visit local markets, and mini zoo in the town. Overnight at a hotel in Nepalgunj.
Drive Bardia National Park via Kohalpur (4 Hrs)Driving on Ratna Highway, we take 30-45 minutes to reach Kohalpur. From Kohalpur, we drive on an off-road till we reach Bardia National Park. After we reach the park, we visit Tharu village. Tharu stick dance performance in evening is worth enjoying and participating. Overnight at a hotel.
Full day exploration of Bardia National Park, drive back to NepalgunjWe take an early morning tour of Bardia National Park on Open Jeep. If we are lucky, we’ll get sight of one-horn rhinos, Bengal tiger, swamp deer, black buck, spotted deer, wild boar, leopard and other wildlife. We spend our morning exploring the park. We then go to Tharu cultural museum around the park. Overnight at a hotel in Bardia.
